      We supply gases to the public and trade customers.
Can I collect in person?
      You are welcome to collect in person. Our opening hours are Mon - Fri, 10:00 - 5:00, Sat 10:00 - 3:00

What ID do I need when ordering a welding gas cylinder?
      No ID is required to order a welding gas cylinder.

Is balloon gas safe?
      Balloon gas is non flammable, and safe to use. It should not be intentionally inhaled.  <Learn More>

Do you accept payment by Credit Card?
      We accept credit & debit cards either in person or by telephone.

Where can I find Data Sheets on the gases you sell?

Can I exchange a damaged cylinder?
       If the cylinder or it’s components are damaged, we charge as follows: Damage to carry handle: £15.00,
       Damage to valve assembly: £40.00. If the body of the cylinder is damaged, we are unable to refund your
       deposit or replace the cylinder.

Can you exchange a cylinder I bought elsewhere?
         We are here to help, and can replace most butane & propane cylinders bought elsewhere. For other cylinders,
        please call us on (01782 787 887), and we will do our best to help.

Can a Motorhome access your Auto Gas pump?
         Larger vehicles and motorhomes can easily access our AutoGas facility.

How long does a cylinder last?
          Obviously, this depends on usage and environmental conditions. All Smithsons welding gases are
        supplied filled to our “Bigfill” policy, which means they will often last longer than some so-called “bargain
        bottles”. Please see <HERE> for more info.   
                                                                                        Always turn off your cylinder when not in use to prevent leakage.
